Join the Motley Kids as we turn a series of circles into a paper planet!
What We Need
Consumable Items
- Sturdy colored paper
- Cardstock
- Glow in the dark Paint
Reusable Items
- Compass
- Pens or Pencils
- Scissors

How to Make It:
- Draw a large circle on the cardstock and cut it out. This is your planet’s equator.
- Draw circles of various sizes on the colored paper (probably not bigger than the equator) and cut them out.
- Fold each colored circle in half
- Cut a slit in the center of the circle, but not all the way to the edge
- Slide each circle onto the cardstock circle and open it up a bit.
- Continue adding circles of various sizes around the equator until you are happy with your planet. Try nesting some of them.
- Add some glow-in-the-dark paint, sparkles, or decorations to your planet!
