Elevator Pitch

Everyone needs a minion or three to call their own! Come decorate some minions with us.  We’ll make a couple of different kinds!

This Craft Makes: 

1) Craft roll (toilet paper tube) minions

2) Easter egg minions

Supplies: 

Purchased Supplies:

  • Yellow easter eggs
  • Craft rolls (toilet paper tubes)
  • Googly Eyes
  • Chenille Stems
  • Glue Dots
  • Tacky Glue/Glue sticks
  • Yellow Construction paper
    • Pre-cut into tube wrapping sizes
  • Blue construction paper
    • Pre-cut into rectangles and strips
  • Black construction paper strips (1/4″)
  • Blue Cardstock
    • Pre-cut into ring sizes

Motley Kids Non-Consumable Supplies

  • Hot glue guns

Steps to Make It

Craft Tube Minions

  1. Wrap a craft tube in yellow construction paper and glue
  2. Attach rectangle for overalls to blue straps at top (skinny) and bottom (wide)
    Decorate overalls if desired
  3. Glue Apply overalls to the craft tube and wrap straps around
  4. Glue a black strip around the tube
  5. Draw a black circle around the eyes and then draw a line for the goggles
  6. Apply googly eyes and draw black circles around them.

Easter Egg Minions

  1. Wrap a black strip of paper around the middle of your easter egg.
  2. Apply googly eyes and draw black circles around them
  3. Make a ring with the blue cardstock that fits your easter egg
    Decorate if you choose
  4. Glue it on the bottom
