Steps to Make It

  1. Take a long wire and bend it in half
  2. Pick out some buttons that will stack nicely
  3. Thread the buttons onto the wire
    1. It’s usually best to start with the smallest button and get bigger as you go.
    2. You have two “legs” of the wire — thread them through separate holes in the buttons
  4. Once your flower is big enough, twist the two wires together to hold the buttons in place
  5. Wrap floral tape around the wires to cover any sharp edges.

Vase

  1. Decorate a vase any way you like with your markers
  2. Roll a ball of air-dry clay about 2” across and insert it into the bottom
  3. Use a spoon or a craft stick to flatten out the clay
  4. Stick your flowers into the vase.  You can rearrange them for several hours before the clay hardens!
