What We Need

Consumable Items

  • Fairy String Lights
  • 8 or 16 ounce Bullet or Boston Round bottles
  • Comic Books
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Mod Podge
  • Mod Podge Pots
  • Paper Plates

  • Messy Crafts Crate

How to Make It:

  1. Set up your bottle on your work tray and open the cup of Mod Podge®
  2. Dip the brush straight down about halfway into the cup. It’s a sponge so it will soak it up.
  3. Use a dabbing motion to put a thin layer on a SMALL section of your bottle, then apply bits of paper until the glue is covered.
  4. Dab glue onto the TOP of the paper and then use a gentle brushing motion to smooth it out.
  5. Repeat until your bottle is covered
  6. UNWRAP your lights and feed the whole string into the bottle. Check the battery door for a pull tab.
  7. Turn your lights on!
